UO Gateway is under threat by the Liberal Government of Canada.
Bill C-22 will force us to spy on our users and collect and store data for 1 year as well as open up a backdoor for government to access said data. We refuse to participate in this level of surveillance and police state and will shutdown if this bill passes in order to protect you and ourselves from this overreach. Duckduckgo, Signal and NordVPN are among other organizations who will do the same.
